Can you actually beat Baldur's Gate 3 without a single weapon? I'm finding out the hard way, and my sorcerer has never looked so defenseless

I decided to test a strange theory in Baldur's Gate 3: can you actually finish the game without ever equipping a weapon? Not just avoiding the big legendary swords, but literally never letting my party members hold anything sharper than a butter knife. My sorcerer has never looked so defenseless, and honestly, it is going worse than I expected.

The first few hours were fine. Cantrips like Fire Bolt and Ray of Frost handle basic goblins well enough. But then I hit the first major boss fight, and my entire strategy fell apart. Without a physical weapon, I have no way to trigger opportunity attacks, no way to shove enemies off ledges with a staff, and no way to break down doors without burning a spell slot. My spell slots run out fast, and when they do, I am just standing there in robes, hoping the enemy rolls poorly.

That is where the RPG Club comes in. I need their collective brainpower to figure out how to handle the tougher fights. I am thinking about leaning hard into summons, using the environment for damage, and maybe abusing the shield spell more than I should. But I am also open to the idea that this run is simply not possible without a lot of cheese. If you have any ideas, I am all ears. Because right now, my sorcerer is one bad roll away from becoming a very fancy corpse.
