PS Plus is Losing a Classic Rockstar Game in June

A beloved Rockstar Games title is set to leave the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium library next month. The game in question is "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City -- The Definitive Edition," the remastered version of the 2002 open-world classic that defined a generation of gaming. Its departure is part of a regular monthly rotation, with five games total scheduled to exit the service in June.

Alongside the return trip to Vice City, subscribers will also lose access to "Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom," "The Caligula Effect 2," "Stranded: Alien Dawn," and "MotoGP 24." These titles will be removed on the third Tuesday of June, giving players just a few weeks to finish their playthroughs or purchase them at a discount before they vanish.

The removal of "Vice City" is particularly notable given Rockstar's enduring popularity. The Definitive Edition, while controversial at launch due to technical issues, has been patched and remains a nostalgic trip for fans of the series.
