Le Cartel Studio is back with a sequel that proves laughter and clever design can share the same couch. Heave Ho 2 takes the simple premise of flailing arms and grabbing ledges and turns it into something surprisingly deep. The core loop remains the same: you control a little character with two independent arms, grabbing onto surfaces and other players to swing, climb, and inevitably fall into pits. But this time, the game feels sharper, more polished, and far more inventive.
The new levels introduce environmental puzzles that demand real coordination. You cannot just fling yourself forward and hope for the best. One moment you are swinging across a gap, the next you are dangling from a friend's leg while they try to reach a switch. The controls are still intentionally clumsy, which is the point. Every victory feels earned, and every failure is hilarious. The physics engine creates chaos that is almost always funny, rarely frustrating.
What makes Heave Ho 2 stand out is how it balances silliness with smart level design. The game never takes itself seriously, but the puzzles require actual thought. You will find yourself communicating with friends, shouting directions, and laughing at the same time. The art style is bright and simple, with expressive characters that add to the charm.
For anyone looking to spend a few afternoons with family or friends, this is a solid pick. It is easy to pick up, hard to master, and full of moments that will stick with you long after you put the controller down. Heave Ho 2 is a rare sequel that improves on the original without losing what made it special.
