The project, long rumored among fans, is now confirmed to be a comprehensive reimagining of the 2013 classic, promising substantial gameplay overhauls and fresh narrative elements rather than just a graphical polish.

According to sources familiar with the development, Resynced will feature a rebuilt naval combat system, with more dynamic weather patterns and improved ship-to-ship boarding mechanics.
